How to find CIR

CIR is located at Oslo University Hospital – Rikshospitalet and at the Department of Biosciences at Blindern campus.

Oslo University Hospital – Rikshospitalet

The A2/A3 entrance is on the opposite side of the tram tracks, directly under the pedestrian bridge.

 

Directions to Oslo University Hospital-Rikshospitalet

From downtown Oslo

From central Oslo you can travel by T-bane (subway) or Trikk (Tram) to Oslo University Hospital-Rikshospitalet. T-bane line 1 takes you to Gaustad station, a few minutes walk from Oslo University Hospital-Rikshospitalet. Trikk lines 17 or 18 takes you to Rikshospitalet station. The tram station is right on our doorstep.

From Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL)

The easiest public transportation form the airport directly to CIR is the F3 Airport Express Coach service (Flybussekspressen) bound for Bekkestua. For travelers going to Oslo University Hospital-Rikshospitalet, disembark at "Gaustad Store Ringvei" (a few minutes walk).

For travelers going from Oslo Airport Gardermoen via the city centre, we recomend the Airport Express Train to Oslo Central Staion or the National Theatre Station. Transfer to trams and subway lines is available at the train stations.

From downtown Oslo

From central Oslo you can travel by T-bane (subway) lines 4 or 5 to the University of Oslo, Blindern Campus. Disembark at Blindern station. Alternatively travel by Trikk (Tram) lines 17 or 18 to Blindern station.The Biology building (Kristine Bonnevies hus) is located south-east on campus, only a few minutes walk from the stations.

From Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL)

The easiest public transportation form the airport directly to CIR is the F3 Airport Express Coach service (Flybussekspressen) bound for Bekkestua. For travelers going to the Blindern campus, disembark at "Ullevål stadion (in Store Ringvei)". From Ullevål Stadion its a 10-12 min walk to Blindern campus. Bus lines 22 or 25 from Ullevål Stadion (in Sognsveien) to "John Colletts plass" will take you very close to Blindern and the Biology building.
