The Faculty’s Awards

The objective of the Faculty’s awards is to recognize and reward individuals or academic institutions that help raise the quality and innovativeness of education.

Each award is of NOK 50 000. They are given as operational grants, and are presented to individuals or academic institutions that have demonstrated a readiness for and commitment to innovative activities and raising the quality related to education at the Faculty’s programmes of study.

Deadline for nominations

15th September is the deadline for nomination of candidates for the autumn 2017 awards.

Award for quality and innovation in the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes

In the autumn of 2017, the Faculty will give out the Award for quality in the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes.

With this award, we wish to recognize and reward individuals or academic institutions that help raise the quality of the programmes.

Award for quality and innovation in the professional programme of study in medicine

In the autumn of 2017, the Faculty will give out its Award for teaching.

With this award, we wish to recognize and reward excellence in teaching.

Award for quality and innovation in medicine

This year’s award for quality and innovation in the professional programme of study in medicine goes to professor Jonn Terje Geitung for his innovative form of teaching in several subject areas.

Award for quality and innovation in the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes

The Faculty has given the education award to professor Jan Frich for his long-standing and important commitment to educating health managers at all levels of the health service in line with society's needs and wishes.

  • Researcher Christine Henriksen og researcher Hilde K. Brekke receives the Award for quality in the bachelor’s and master’s degree.
