With this award, the Faculty wishes to recognize and reward outstanding teaching.

The award committee’s statement highlights:

  • As head of teaching in anatomy, she took the initiative for international exchange of anatomy teachers between UiO and several other universities, with a view to improving teaching.
  • She is also concerned with reviving the tradition of prosector minor, in which older students serve as assistant teachers of dissection. This represents an important measure to improve quality.
  • In blogging about difficult topics she has been a force for innovation and a pioneer. This has been highly appreciated by the students.

The institute congratulates Anne on her well-deserved award!
