HELSE-EU: Support for development of applications within EU health research
The Research Council of Norway - Support for development of proposals for EU funding for health research
Deadline: 11th October 2017.
The primary objective of the HELSE-EU scheme is to encourage Norwegian health researchers to participate under Horizon 2020 and to promote the submission of more project proposals on health topics under Horizon 2020.
Who can apply?
Collaboration must encompass actors across institutions, research groups, disciplines, subject areas and/or sectors
Applicants may be:
- Research institutes
- Universities/university colleges
- Regional health authorities
- Public sector entities
- User organisations
- Trade and industry.
It is an advantage for applicants to have European contacts.
What will be funded?
Up to NOK 8 million annually.
Each collaborative project may receive up to NOK 1 million per year for up to two years.
Activities that strenghten, build upon or establish new collaborations between leading national actors within the thematics of the H2020 Calls.
The collaboration within the strategic thematics should result in one or more EU Applications.
Pre-projects, pilot projects or demonstrations where the results lay the foundation for a larger Horizon 2020 project may be a part of the collaboration.
A part of the collaborative activities may be sharing of best practice, knowledge exchange or other activities that contribute to prepare the participants for the competition in H2020.
The collaboration must increase the participants' possibilities for being included in strong international consortia.
