JPIAMR - Antibiotica resistance

The JPIAMR has launched the sixth call within antibiotic resistance. Deadline: March 7, 2018.

Objective

The primary aim of the 6th joint call of the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR) is to combine the resources, infrastructures, and research strengths of multiple countries in order to address the identification and validation of new targets, the development of new therapies, and new tools for new treatments (including new antibiotics).

The call targets research in the following topic:

  • Innovations against antibiotic-resistant bacteria: new targets, compounds and tools.
  • Fundamental, translational research, with the exception of clinical trials.

Eligibility

At least three partners from three different countries, with no more than six partners. More country requirements are specified in the call.

Application procedure

Two-stage deadline

First deadline March 7, 2018

Second deadline June 14, 2018

Funding

Available for a Norwegian partner:  700 000 Euro.

Total available for Norway: 1,5 million Euro.

Duration: three years
