Programme structure

The Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in nutrition have been merged into a 5-year Master's degree program in clinical nutrition. Many of the courses have been retained, or just slightly altered. There is, however, ongoing work on restructuring and redefining of courses. Consequently some courses may be moved to a different semester or dropped altogether, while some may have a somewhat different content. It is therefore recommended that you contact the Department of Nutrition prior to choosing courses.

Courses

For the first three and a half (3 1/2) semesters, the program has a joint structure and curriculum with Medicine and Dentistry programs, i.e joint lectures, exams etc. The final 2 1/2 semesters of the program is dedicated exclusively to the study of nutrition.

Please note that admission to this program requires knowledge of Norwegian as most lectures and examinations are given in Norwegian.

Mandatory courses

All courses on the program are mandatory.
