Global Health Inspiration Days 2017

The Centre for Global Health at the University of Oslo had the pleasure to organise its 1st annual Global Health Inspiration Days, which were held on the 13th and 14th of November at the central university campus in Oslo.

This truly collective event brought together scholars and students to discuss cross-cutting issues in Global Health. The speakers and panelists shared insights into their current research that is being conducted at various departments and centres at the University of Oslo, the Oslo University Hospital, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, the Norwegian Centre for Migration and Minority Health and the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences.

The panels and discussions were organized by Signatory Theme areas as arranged within the Centre for Global Health, including non-communicable diseases, global mental health, mother and child health, infectious diseases, nutrition, migrant health and social inequalities, one-health (human, animal, environmental health), digital health, health systems and global governance, contemporary history and anthropology of Global Health and global paediatrics. Click here for more details on the Signatory Themes.

The Centre for Global Health would like to thank all the speakers, panelists and participants who came to support the growing Global Health community and make the event a great success. We hope to see you all again next year!
