Workshop i mixed methods 7.- 8.september i Tromsø

Day 1, 7th of September 2015:

Open lecture by Professor R. Burke Johnson.

We are inviting PhDs and their network/research-groups, but it is also open for anyone that might be interested.

  • What is mixed methods and what is it not
  • The questions of philosophical assumptions : the dialectic and the pragmatic stances.

(More specific themes will be added)

We hope (and believe) that there will be some questions during the lectures and generally interactive communication.

Day 2, 8th of September 20

Workshop with Professor R. Burke Johnson

This day we are inviting PhDs to present their project/part of the project/and or specific MMR questions to address. Each PhD will have about 10 minutes for their presentation, and then we can have a group discussion about the issues of concern. We will send B. Johnson all the presentations in advance. We hope to have 10 presentations that day. If there are less PhDs, we give each person more presentation and discussion time. The research-teams/groups are also invited.
