Biochemical and structural characterisations of proteases of medical importance. 

Background

PhD in Structural Biology (Protein Crystallography). Structure-function studies of selected representative of a family of fungal lectin with protease activity. Experienced in molecular cloning, expression, purification, enzyme activity assays, protein crystallization, X-ray data collection and protein structure determination. Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and cytotoxicity assays.
