Cancer and Lifestyle Factors
We want to understand the role of lifestyle factors in cancer development, especially related to breast cancer.
About the group
Specifically we have focused on determining whether certain subgroups of women are at a particularly high risk of developing breast cancer given certain lifestyle choices, and whether we can predict who these women are early on, and use this information to prevent breast cancer.
My research program combines classical cancer epidemiology, studies of mammographic density as a biomarker for breast cancer risk and genetic epidemiologic studies.
