We have presented various types of evidence suggesting that optimizing nutrition to premature infants will impact positively on their future growth and cognitive functions.

In addition we have used spinal cord injured patients to establish the importance of the nervous system in regulating the circadian variation of various hemostatic factors. This can be of importance on how to reduce the incidence of thrombotic and embolic disorders.
