About the group
The focus for the research is on individualized psychotherapy for young people with mental disorders.
There is a lack of research examining for whom and under what circumstances different therapies may be most efficacious and a lack of process-outcome research that examines the key theoretical mechanisms of action of specific youth psychotherapies. Also there is a need for research on how to reach out to young people with the right treatment at the right level.
The main aim for the research group is to contribute with more knowledge on the treatment effects of different psychotherapy modes for the individual young person.
The research group includes a psychotherapy-practice research network important for keeping the research clinical relevant.
