K.G. Jebsen Breast Cancer Center lecture - Katie Hoadley

The Cancer Genome Atlas Pan-Cancer Analysis.

Katie Hoadley is Research Assistant Professor at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Katie Hoadley’s research interests include integrative genomic analyses to better understand cancer, particularly the aggressive basal-like subtype of breast cancer.  She is one of the lead scientists for gene expression-based analyses and oversees UNC’s RNA sequencing contribution to The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) Project.

She helped lead TCGA’s effort to genomically characterize breast cancer (Nature 2012).  In addition, she is involved in several other large international genomics projects including the International Cancer Genomics Consortium. Katie is a long time member of Chucks (Charles Perou) lab.
