About Dr. Timm Denecke
Dr. Timm Denecke is an international recognized radiologist and leading researcher from the renowned University Hospital Charité, Berlin.
He is chairman of the Radiology Association of Berlin (Berliner Röntgengesellschaft - Röntgenvereinigung zu Berlin und Brandenburg, BRG-RBB).
He is an expert in liver imaging with special focus on diagnostic and management of colorectal liver metastases, MRI contrast agents and hepatocellular carcinoma.
Some of his other specialties within abdominal radiology are PET/CT, oncological surgery, local ablative treatments and organ transplantation.
Dr. Denecke is also member of the editorial board and editor of the international journal Acta Radiologica which publishes papers from all topics within radiology.
The lecture is followed by the trial lecture and presentation of the doctoral thesis of Anselm Schulz where Dr. Denecke will be the 1. opponent.
