Visedekan for forskning og forskerutdanning ved Det medisinske fakultet ved UiO.

Mitt hovedansvar er å lede arbeidet med å gjøre forskerlinjen på medisinstudiet, PhD programmet og post doc tilbudet enda mer attraktivt og nyttig.

Forskning er grunnpilaren i fornying av kunnskap og utvikling av nye metoder, enten det gjelder kliniske utfordringer, oppgaver grunnforskning må løse eller utfordringer på samfunnsnivå.

Min bakgrunn er fra klinisk medisin og barn og unges psykiske helse er mitt spesialfelt. I forskningen har jeg hatt et særlig fokus på problematikk knyttet til barnemishandling og traumatiske opplevelser. Jeg er spesialist i Barne- og ungdomspsykiatri og mitt phd prosjekt handlet om posttraumatiske stressreaksjoner hos barn og unge utsatt for slike hendelser.

  • Forelesninger/seminar for medisinstudiet I 5. og 6. modul: angst- og tvangsfenomer i barndom. Seminar om traumer hos barn og ungdom. Seminar om barnemishandling. Team based learning om urolige barn.
  • Underviser leger, psykologer, sykepleiere og andre fagpersoner i temaområdet barn og traumatiske hendelser, barnemishandling, katastrofer. Holder foredrag på nasjonale og internasjonale konferanser.
