Founded in 1814, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo is the oldest medical faculty in Norway. The Faculty's core activities are research, education and dissemination for the best of patients and society.
Strategy and politics
For the period of 2010–2020, the primary goal of the Faculty is to strengthen its academic activities through efforts to increase quality in order for all academic environments to attain a high international level in research and teaching.
