Services

We provide users at Oslo University Hospital (OUS), the University of Oslo (UiO), regional Helse Sør-Øst users, as well as external users, with services within; Super-resolution microscopy, live cell microscopy, confocal scanning microscopy, wide-field microscopy, high-content imaging microscopy, laser capture microscopy with optical tweezers, as well as image analysis.

Location

The Gaustad node is now located in the SINTEF building on Forskningsveien 1. The instruments are on the 4th floor in the F-wing of the building. Please register in the reception, when visiting us, and we will come to meet you. The laser capture microdissection microscope is still located at the Department of Pharmacology in building A3 at Rikshospitalet.

Organization

This node is part of the Core Facility for Advanced Light Microscopy at Oslo University Hospital, supported by Helse Sør-Øst, which includes two additional nodes located at Radiumhospitalet (Montebello), and at the Institute of Experimental Research, Ullevål University Hospital (UUH).
