NorSeq:UiO is a sequencing core facility consisting of three nodes. We are part of the NorSeq national consortium.

Services

The two nodes at the Norwegian Sequencing Centre offer sequencing services on Illumina and PacBio instruments. We also have single cell instruments available for use.

The Genomics Node delivers state-of-the-art high-throughput genomic services to study the genome, epigenome and transcriptome in basic, translational and clinical research projects. We have developed a wide range of laboratory protocols that scale to different project sizes and provide end-to-end solutions from experimental design with our technology experts, sample preparation, sequencing and bioinformatic analysis. Our services are offered for a wide variety of analyses, from bulk analysis of tissues and cell lines to liquid biopsies, from single-cell multi-omics to spatial transcriptomics, and more.

Location

The two nodes at the Norwegian Sequencing Centre are located at the Department of Medical Genetics (Oslo University Hospital and University of Oslo) and at Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis (CEES, University of Oslo).

The Genomics node is located at the Department Core Facilities, Institute for Cancer Research, the Norwegian Radium Hospital, Oslo University Hospital.
