Support for Networking to Promote Gender Balance in Norwegian Research

Norwegian Research Council (NFR) has pre-announced funding to Support Networking to Promote Gender Balance in Norwegian Research  that can help promote and understand gender balance in academia. Deadline: 16 September, 2020.

The purpose of this call is to provide funding for a meeting place where research institutions can stay up-to-date on the latest new ideas, methods and theories relating to gender balance in academia. The BalanseHub network will collect and share useful and essential knowledge from the research front and provide an arena for exchange of experience between the participating projects.

Priority areas

A) Coordination and management of the BalanseHub network

This call for proposals is targeted towards actors that will be able to coordinate and lead the BalanseHub network in cooperation with the Research Council for a two-year period from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2022. 

Budget: Up to NOK 7 million

Category B: Participation in the BalanseHub network

This call for proposals is targeted towards research institutions seeking to participate in the BalanseHub network over a two-year period from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2022. 

Budget: Up to NOK 1 million

Eligibility

Category A: Approved Norwegian research organisations may apply for funding individually or in a collaborative effort.

Category B: Approved Norwegian research organisations may apply for funding.
