Edmond J. Safra Fellowship in Movement Disorders

The Edmond J. Safra Fellowship funds the training of movement disorder clinician-researchers who can provide expert care and lead scientific advances. Deadline pre-proposals: 09 December 2021.

The Edmond J. Safra Fellowship in Movement Disorders aims to grow the global base of movement disorder specialists — neurologists with additional training in Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders — by training movement disorder clinician-researchers who can provide expert care and lead scientific advances.

Eligibility

The program grants funding directly to academic centers, which then must identify and train a new movement disorder clinician-researcher over a two-year period. The Edmond J. Safra Fellowship in Movement Disorders is open to academic centers worldwide.

Available funding

Eight two-year fellowships of $180,000. For each two-year fellowship, $90,000 per fellow per year will be awarded.
