MSCA Staff Exchanges
MSCA Staff Exchanges funds short-term international and inter-sectoral exchanges of researchers, technical and administrative staff. The tentative deadline for the next call is March 9, 2022.
MSCA Staff Exchanges are open to international consortia of universities, research institutions, businesses, SMEs and other non-academic organizations. The grant funds the mobility of seconded staff members from one month up to one year.
A requirement is that staff exchanges within the EU are between sectors, except if they are interdisciplinary. For partnerships with non-associated Third Countries, exchanges within the same sector and the same discipline are allowed.
There is no funding for researcher salaries. However, the seconded staff is eligible for top-up allowances to cover travel and subsistence costs, which is on top of the current salary. A grant will also cover networking, training and management costs according to fixed rates.
Project duration can be up to 4 years with a maximum of 360 person-months of secondments.
A minimum of three partners from three different countries has to participate in the consortium. One partner must be from an EU member country.
The call is expected to open on October 7. The latest draft of the work programme can be obtained by contacting the External Funding Office.
