Centres for Excellent Education
The Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education (DIKU) has announced a call for new Centres of Excellent Education. Deadline 22 April 2022.
Staus as a centre for excellent education (SFU) is awarded for five years, with a possibility to prolong the centre status for an additional five years. A prerequisite for being awarded centre status is that the institution can document education excellence and demonstrate plans for innovation and further development of their educational excellence. At UiO, the SFU status is considered an important strategic area to promote quality in education and learning. Currently, four SFUs are hosted at UiO, and UiO is also a partner in a fifth SFU.
Applicants may apply for up to NOK 8 million per year for five years. It is expected that the host institution and partners contribute with substantial own funding.
Seminar at UiO
LINK invites interested applicants at UiO to a kick-off seminar on 2 November, 14-1600 hours. The seminar will inform you about the internal and external application procedures as well as advice from current SFU representatives.
