Election Institute Board
The Institute has an Institute Board that advises the Institute's management.
Representatives of the temporary academic staff and the students are elected for one year (1.1-31.12.2020). Students arrange their own elections. The other representatives are appointed or elected for a term of four years (2018-2022).
For the 2020 election only academic staff on fixed-term contracts (min 50%) and Professor II on fixed-term contracts shall vote.
The voting period is open from 8 AM on 19 November until 12 noon 26 November.
Presentation of candidates
Kaja Kvaale and Lise Bjerke are the two candidates running in this election.
Who can vote?
Academic staff on fixed-term contracts of minimum 50 percent, including Professor II on fixed-term contracts, are eligible to vote. You must be employed on the day you vote.
Deadline for proposing a candidate
Friday October 30th, 2020.
Who can propose a candidate
Academic staff on fixed-term contracts, including Professor II on fixed-term contracts, with a right to vote. No one can sign more than one proposal.
Who is eligible as a candidate
Academic staff on fixed-term contracts, including Professor II on fixed-term contracts, with a right to vote are eligible to stand for election. To be eligible, one must be employed for a period that covers the whole period one is elected for, January 1st - December 31st, 2021. Leaders and deputy leaders of the institutes are not eligible.
The proposal must contain:
- You may propose one or more candidates
- There must be at least the same number of proposers as the number of candidates in the proposal.
- The proposal must contain the name(s) of the candidate(s), title and place of work at the faculty.
- The proposal must state whether the candidate(s) have agreed to stand for election.
- The proposal must contain the name, title and place of work for the proponent(s)
