Academic interests

As a health researcher with broad training in public health and sociology, my work centers on understanding person-level and contextual determinants of health and well-being in the general population, and among subgroups such as the elderly. My work encompasses both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including the analyses of registrar and population survey data. Topics studied include the organization and delivery of care for community-dwelling older adults, risk factors for chronic illness and mortality, and social determinants of mental health.
