PhD workshop on academic writing with Lynn P. Nygaard. 

The theme of this years Global Mental Health Day is 'Global Psychiatry and Neurology - the new number one burden of disease'. The seminar will feature eminent experts from Asia, Latin America and Europe.

The aims of the meeting are to consider possible affiliations with other organizations and to review recent strategies/work on e-health literacy/ digital literacy. 

The non-disclosure of a cancer diagnosis is relatively common in India. Studies have shown that many cancer patients are unaware of their disease. But how exactly is non-disclosure working in a hospital setting? What are patients told when they are not told that they have cancer?

The first meeting of the One Health Lancet Commission will take place in Oslo on the 9th and 10th of May 2019. The meeting will bring together the worlds top researchers from the field of One Health.

The theme and title of this years conference is "Competence building for impact – time for revolution".

Migration conference in Bergen aiming at increased dialog between disciplines and actors within the field of migration health in Norway.  

This meeting in Kathmandu, Nepal will bring together practitioners, researchers, and experts from diverse traditions to discuss the implications of religious and spiritual teachings for mental health theory, policy, and practice. The aim is to advance mental health programs in Nepal and globally in ways that are informed by local cultural knowledge, values and traditions.

In the current global effort to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs) and universal health coverage (UHC), maternity care is squarely in the center. Since the year 2000 coverage of facility delivery and skilled birth attendance increased, while the maternal mortality ratio decreased, at rates slower than hoped for, partially because of inadequate quality of care.
