Occupied Palestinian territory, cooperation from 1994-
The original aims of the cooperation (1995-protocol) were to establish the occurrence of diseases and investigate possible causes and risk factors of selected diseases in Palestine and to improve the health in society.
Objectives:

To build and strengthen competence and experience in general-, occupational- and environmental epidemiology and occupational hygiene in Palestine.

To encourage Palestinian researchers to plan and carry out epidemiological studies in Palestine.

To stimulate Palestinian faculty members and health personnel / health planners to make greater use of epidemiological data, concepts and methods in the preparation, updating, monitoring and evaluation of relevant activities.

To motivate Palestinian faculty members and health personnel / health planners to acknowledge epidemiology as a basis for building a rational Public Health sector.
