The effect of Methenamine hippurat drug shortage – an interrupted time series analysis
Methenamine hippurate (Hiprex) is a urinary antiseptic used as preventive treatment for recurrent urinary tract infections. The scope of this study is to investigate whether the Methenamine hippurate drug shortage in Norway in 2019 lead to an increase in urinary antibiotic prescriptions.
