Two HTH projects receive innovation funding from UiO

Two Hybrid Technology Hub projects: DUCT chip – An artificial bile duct on a chip recapitulating immune functions and Tankyrase inhibition as a therapeutic principle in idiopathic lung fibrosis have received innovation funding from the University of Oslo for early phase support. 

The University of Oslo supports innovations projects (verification) with 5 million kroner in 2020 for early phase support for a speedy start-up.

UiO received 44 applications and 10 projects were awarded funding, whereby, two went to Hybrid Technology Hub-projects.

Espen Melum was awarded 500 000NOK for the project: DUCT chip – An artificial bile duct on a chip recapitulating immune functions

Stefan Krauss with Jo Waaler received 500 000 for the project: Tankyrase inhibition as a therapeutic principle in idiopathic lung fibrosis
