I am a senior staff scientist in the Corander Lab, where we develop and use statistical methods to study how bacteria evolve.

I am actively doing research in the following areas:

  • Evolution and spread of antimicrobial resistance
  • Genomic epidemiology of bacterial pathogens
  • Population genomics of K. pneumoniae and other Klebsiella species
  • Basic evolutionary population genomics of bacteria
