Teaching

Background

MD 1990. In the period from 1992 until present I have been treating patients with serious lipid disorders at the Lipid Clinic and conducted a series of studies of new drugs and dietary compounds within lipidologi and diabetes type 2.

Dr. med. 2000. Certified specialist in Medical Biochemistry 2000.

From 2009-2011 I worked as a physician at the Norwegian Medicines Agency at the Depatment of Pharmacovigilance.

Presently, I am working as a physician at the Lipid Clinic one day per week (20%) treating patients with various lipid disorders. The rest of the week is devoted to research and teaching within the Department of Nutrition as Associate professor (80%).
