Responsible for storing and dispensing narcotics, ordering medications
Supervision and documentation management of genetically modified animals in collaboration with the Norwegian Directorate of Health
Periodic training of KPM employees and medical students
Background
Veterinarian with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a PhD in epizootiology, with a professional background in animal health, infection control and disease surveillance. Has completed the FELASA-accredited course through LabVet Europe for designated veterinarians, with a particular focus on responsibilities and follow-up within laboratory animal facilities. In addition, has broad experience and training in laboratory animal science, especially related to mice, rats, and fish, with an emphasis on animal welfare, health monitoring, and work in regulated research environments.
