The research involves studies on B vitamins, homocysteine, cysteine and related sulfur amino acids.
About the group
Through collaborations, we carry out experimental, clinical, epidemiological studies and intervention trials to determine the relation between genetic determinants, dietary and lifestyle factors and B vitamin status, and the importance of B vitamin status for health and disease development.
The research is based partly in Department of Nutrition at UiO and partly in Department of Pharmacology, at University of Oxford where Refsum is a visiting professor.
