Division of Surgery, Inflammatory Medicine and Transplantation (KIT)

Division of Surgery, Inflammatory Diseases and Transplantation conducts research and education in areas such as stomach- / intestinal disorders, urology, skin diseases and inflammatory disorders.

The clinical patient care is highly specialized, multidisciplinary both medically and surgically, and takes place at both Rikshospitalet, Ullevål, Aker and the Norwegian Radium Hospital.

The division has national functions and responsibilities for transplantation of abdominal organs. The division also have a Research Institute for Internal Medicine.
