Vacant position: PhD research fellow in Suicide Prevention Research

Applications are invited for a 3-year position in a research fellowship as PhD candidate in suicide prevention research to be based at National Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (NSSF) at the University of Oslo. Apply for this job

The research fellow will join the register-based research group studying suicide and deliberate self-harm with data from Norwegian population registers, and specifically work on the funded project addressing suicide in men of middle and old age. Deadline: 3rd October 2022.  

NSSF is a part of the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Division of Mental Health and Addiction at the University of Oslo. NSSF is the leading centre in the field of suicide research and prevention in Norway with its main activities focusing on clinical and epidemiological research, education, and dissemination of knowledge. The centre has an active cooperation with similar research centres internationally. The centre provides several types of psychotherapy training, offers courses in clinical suicidology, and operates several websites and a peer-reviewed journal “Suicidologi”.
