- CEO and head of NORA's secretariat
- Develop and coordinate joint initiatives between NORA partners and between NORA partners and external stakeholders
- Develop strategies and action plans for NORA in cooperation with NORA partners
- Cooperate with authorities and government funding agencies in order to develop the field in Norway
- Secure active channels of communication between partners and towards the outside world
- Create open meeting places among NORA partners
