Nordic EMBL Partnership: Annual Meeting in Oslo
NCMM will be hosting the 9th annual meeting of the Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine. The meeting will be held in Oslo from 11-14 September. We expect around 150 participants to attend, including group leaders, postdoctoral and senior researchers, PhD students and coordinators from all the nodes, as well as representatives from EMBL.
The programme will consist of high-quality scientific presentations, poster sessions and interesting social activities. This event also aims to equip the scientists with new skills and encourages multidisciplinary interaction among the researchers. In addition, the steering committee, group leaders, coordinators and PhD students will have time for their own discussions to enhance collaborations among the nodes.
Meeting objectives
- Disseminate scientific information, and provide researchers with a forum to introduce their projects and interests to the wider Nordic EMBL Community
- Help to foster a better sense of a network, and help facilitate and enhance collaborations across all Nordic nodes and the EMBL
- Showcase what technologies and services are on offer within the Partnership, and promote the sharing of resources
- Offer some training and career development, particularly for junior scientists in terms of soft skills and careers advice.
