Founded in 1814, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo is the oldest medical faculty in Norway and we have a long and successful history in welcoming and including international students. We aim to implement the Sustainable Development Goals in all parts of our education.
Health programmes for international students
We offer three Master’s degree programmes taught entirely in English as well as Doctoral degrees (PhD) in medicine and health sciences. They include both interdisciplinary studies and a research based master program. You can work with some of Europe's best researchers in medicine and health sciences, and take part in exciting research projects. The PhD programme at the Faculty of Medicine is the largest at UiO.
