Tibet, cooperation from 2003

The aim of the co-operation is to build competence in research methodology among Tibetan health personnel and staff in health institutions. Furthermore, to make a better basis for improvement of the health in Tibet, through research projects.

Currently, we have three PhD-students and 6 master students from Tibet.

Main focus:

  • Non-communicable diseases, including Chronic and Acute Mountain Sickness
  • Cardio-/vascular risk factors
  • Physical fitness among adolescents
