Center TBI
Collaborative European NeuroTrauma Effectiveness Research in TBI
About the project
The research group is involved in the large European project CENTER-TBI, 2013-2020 that aims to improve the care for patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
The project is lead by Professor Andrew Maas and Professor David Menon and involves researchers from over 20 countries.
Objectives
CENTER-TBI brings the newest technologies and many of the world's leading TBI experts together in a much needed effort to tackle the silent epidemic of TBI, resulting in more effective and efficient therapy, improved health care at both individual and population based levels, and better outcomes at lower costs.
Our project group is part of the main research team of work package "Transition of care after TBI" which explores the structural differences between various TBI-care approaches in Europe.
