ENABLE Enabling environments for non-communicable disease risk reduction in Ethiopia

The overall aim of the ENABLE project is to reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by lowering the life-long prevalence of major NCD risk factors among pregnant women in Ethiopia.

Contact

The ENABLE project aims to encourage healthy dietary habits, increase physical activity, and minimize exposure to air pollution among pregnant women. The primary goal is to equitably implement interventions that are context-adapted and grounded in evidence to foster positive behavior change. The project will be conducted in urban settings across four Ethiopian cities: Addis Ababa, Adama, Harar, and Jimma.
