The workshop, hosted in august, was co-organized by the “Epidemics and African Health Systems” and the “Epidemic Traces” projects.

In November 2024, we organized a witness seminar across three towns in Western Kenya—Siaya, Bondo, and Kisumu—with the aim of documenting frontline experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic as a historical event.

Under WP1 on maternal health, we held a dissemination workshop on the Effect of COVID-19 on maternal health-seeking behavior and maternal health services.

With funding from the Research Council of Norway (RCN) this project addresses an urgent issue in global health: the response of African health systems to the Covid-19 pandemic.
