As a postdoctoral researcher in the Nutritional Epidemiology group, I study how diet and lifestyle influence the risk of colorectal cancer and survival following a cancer diagnosis. My research involves both epidemiological studies and dietary intervention studies, including healthy individuals as well as patients diagnosed with cancer.
My areas of interest span nutritional epidemiology, dietary assessment methods, and the biological mechanisms underlying disease development. I am also eager to explore implementation strategies and how we can translate our knowledge into practice. An important project in this context is the KoloPrev study, which examines the potential of the Norwegian Colorectal Screening Program as a platform for promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
