My academic interests are largely directed towards statistical modelling, statistical/machine learning, and space-time modelling of real world problems. I am also interested in teaching, statistical consultation, and collaborative research works and academic discussion.
I have PhD degree in Mathematical statistics from Umeå University, Sweden. At Umeå university, I had been working on the project: Statistical modelling and intelligent data sampling in Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and Positron emission tomography (PET) measurements for cancer therapy assessment.
I had also been working as postdoctoral research fellow at Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, Umeå University, Sweden, on the project: Spatiotemporal modelling, prediction, and simulation of future alarm calls.
My research focuses on developing space-time data models, statistical machine learning, statistical learning with sparsity, and sparse signal reconstruction methods. I have worked on application areas such as epidemiology, environmental sciences, and biomedical image processing.
Now, I am a Scientia fellow at the department of Biostatistics, University of Oslo, Norway, on the project: Statistical learning for personalized cancer therapy modelling and prediction in pharmacogenomic cell line screens.
