As a Postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Johanne Tracey Jacobsen's lab, I explore the biology of T cells within the lymph node. By employing advanced tools developed by Prof. Gabriel Victora’s team and Dr. Jacobsen, I aim to elucidate how T cells interacted with other cells within the lymph node and how those interactions dictate the quality of the humoral response. This includes using 2-Photon microscopy for in vivo cell interaction studies (PMDI : 34437125) and the universal LIPSTIC system to track and analyze cell contact history (PMDI : 38448581) via flow cytometry and single-cell RNA sequencing. Together these techniques enable detailed tracking and analysis of T cell interactions.
I completed my PhD in Bordeaux under the supervision of Dr. Dorothee Duluc, where I studied follicular helper T cells (Tfh) in the context of a malignant blood disease: Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). Following my PhD, I undertook a postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn Medicine) in Dr. Michela Locci’s team, where I deepened my understanding of the Tfh population. My work there included projects on long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) in Tfh differentiation, mRNA vaccines, and the role of Tfh cells in memory responses.
After two years in Philadelphia, I had the opportunity to join Dr. Jacobsen's team in Oslo, where I am currently pursuing my postdoc position.
