The title of Professor Dustin's talk is "Implications of the immunological synapse for immunotherapy".
Professor Dustin is the Kennedy Trust Professor of Molecular Immunology at the University of Oxford. His lab focuses on the immunological synapse between T cells and partners in the immune response including dendritic cells and B cells, as well as targets for destruction including infected, damaged and cancerous cells. The talk will focus on the effects of T cell engagers on the immunological synapse. Relevant parameters include the ability to cooperate with costimulatory pathways, exclude proteins with large extracellular domains and molecular flexibility. Implications for immunotherapy and beyond will be discussed.
We look forward to seeing you there!
