I am currently pursuing a master's degree in biotechnology at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and completing my thesis at NCMBM.
I have a bachelor's degree in biotechnology from the University of Tromsø (UiT), where I took courses in molecular and cell biology, microbiology, and biotechnology, along with additional courses to deepen my knowledge in the field of biosciences.
I will be joining Biswa Sahu’s group for both my internship and my Master’s thesis. My project will focus on using CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing to target coding genes, particularly transcription factors (TFs), in cancer cell lines.
