Presentation

I have been employed at Institute of Basic Medical Sciences since 2018. Additionally, I have been a researcher at the Department of Biosciences for eight years. I teach first year medical students in Biochemistry (Blokk 2) and a PhD course at IMB. My research group at IMB focuses on epigenetic mechanisms in stem cell and disease and we are part of Centre for Cancer Cell Reprogramming. I have experience as member of the Institute council at IMB, the IBV board and different committees at UiO.

Academia is under pressure. I wish to contribute to decisions and processes to ensure academic freedom and the best education at Faculty of Medicine.
