Position: Adviser
Workplace: Finance Section, Institute of Basic Medical Sciences
Presentation
I joined the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences (IMB) in 2024 as a project controller, where I gained experience within research-support. In 2025 I transitioned to the role as an institute controller. Through this role I have been able to get a greater insight into the insitute’s strategic objectives, priorities and decision-making processes. In addition to this I am also familiar with the faculty from my experience as a student.
I am particularly interested in organisational governance and how strategic objectives, financial priorities and decision-making processes shape the faculty's activities. Through participation in the Faculty Board, I hope to gain a broader understanding of the faculty, while contributing perspectives from technical and administrative staff.
Key elements of election programme
As a representative of technical and administrative staff, I would like to work towards:

- Recognising the importance of support functions: Highlighting and recognising the importance of administrative and technical support functions for the faculty's research, teaching and wider activities.
- Transparency and communication: Promoting good communication between management and employees, particularly during organisational changes.
- Competence and professional development: Safeguarding existing expertise and providing opportunities for professional and career development.
- An inclusive organisation: Representing the diversity of technical and administrative staff across departments, sections and areas of responsibility.
