When will the election take place?
The election took place electronically between September 20 and 30. The election ends at 10:00AM on September 30.
Who is eligible to vote?
You can vote if you have an active admission to the PhD Programme between 1 sept-30 sept. 2024.
Who can stand for election?
You can stand for election if:
- You have an active admission to the PhD programme during the election period (1st of Jan 25 to 31st of Dec 25)
- Your agreement is to work at least 50 % with the doctoral degree.
- You are within the original dates of your PhD admission and have minimum one year left of your contract.
- You master Norwegian.
The faculty gives a one-month financial extension per year in the position (you can sit max. two years in a row). This extension is taken from the funds allocated by the faculty to MedDocs, and are granted at the institute where the candidate is employed or registered.
