Examinations in MED5600

The MED5600 has two examinations: an Objective Structured Clinical Examination - OSCE, and a digital examination using Inspera

Both exams will normally take place during the last week of the semester.

Please observe that attendance requirements must be fulfilled in order to sit the examinations. The digital exam spans the entire content of the semester, whereas the OSCE exam covers gynaecology/obstetrics, paediatrics and pathology.  It is not possible to split MED5600 into smaller parts.

Please read the information on MED5600 exams.

We also encourage you to familiarize yourselves with the information on examinations using Inspera, and take note of all 4 steps involved. Please note that point 4 does not apply to medical exchange students: there will be a reviewing of the exam where you can go through your exam paper at the faculty, and you will receive an explanation of your score within a couple of weeks after the exam.

You should also be informed on the procedures of appealing an exam result, as these can be different from what you are used to at your home university. At UiO, an OSCE exam is considered an oral exam, and cannot be appealed. The procedures of appealing the digital exam result.
